About me
Sarah Henn Hayward is a published author as well as a wife and mother, a physical therapist, and outdoor enthusiast. She grew up in the Chicago suburbs, went to Marquette University for physical therapy, and moved to Spokane, WA, where she met her husband and grew their family. They all love camping in the Pacific Northwest and take advantage of their beautiful surroundings as much as possible.
Sarah's book, Giving Up God: Resurrecting a Spirituality of Love and Wonder, deals with her spiritual journey of deconstruction and ultimate deconversion from the Christian faith. In the book, she explores her identity as an atheist and investigates alternate philosophies and labels to use to help guide her life.
The process of writing Giving Up God unlocked a previously undiscovered part of Sarah's brain, and she is now full of ideas for more books. She has been writing a children's chapter book series, and she has plans for another non-fiction memoir and a novel.
