About me
Kristin Beneski is the First Assistant Attorney General at the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. In this role, she acts as a key legal advisor to Attorney General Bob Ferguson and represents the State in significant litigation at the frontiers of the law—including in the areas of reproductive rights, public health, firearm safety, and election integrity. Kristin is coordinating the Office’s multipronged response to the Dobbs decision and is lead counsel in Washington, et al. v. FDA, a multistate lawsuit challenging the FDA’s restrictions on mifepristone.
Kristin was previously a Section Chief in the Office’s Complex Litigation Division and, before that, a litigation attorney at Lane Powell PC. She is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Amherst College.
