About me
Josiah Mannion is a social and secular organizer and activist in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and around the country. He has a breadth and depth of experience that includes everything from a rusty philosophy degree to working in a family homeless shelter to military intelligence linguist to a bout of alcoholic homelessness. Around 2009-ish, he went through the process of deconstructing his beliefs, later starting to participate as a photographer in atheist and justice spaces. He’s currently involved in public library advocacy work, work as a homemaker, work as a librarian, work as Idaho State Director for American Atheists, and work organizing a conference on resisting white christian nationalism in the Pacific Northwest, in addition to continuing photography activism for secular and justice organizations. He strongly believes in decolonizing atheism.
